The bed is comfortable and the bedding was clean as were the towels but the rest of the room Is scruffy! Splats everywhere, the walls the doors, the tables and the back of the toilet. But for the price the bed is comfortable and clean.

Booked to stay 1 night before flight out of Manchester, Bar was not open, restaurant was under refurbishment and no shops anywhere near, this was not communicated when I booked, also had to pay for parking separate as I was told it’s private land, was ok for the 1 night I needed but other than that I wouldn’t use it.

No receptionist, had to call a mobile number on the desk and the receptionist came downstairs. The room was filthy, chair was missing a leg, crumbs everywhere and food in the sink. Room stank of cigarettes and body odour. TV didn't work, half the lights didn't work, extractor fan for bathroom didn't work. Extremely poor experience. Checkout was just throwing our key card into a box, no receptionist at desk. No drinking water, unclean facilities, no hand soap.

Friendly and helpful staff. But the rooms are dated, and could do with a good spring clean - dusty carpets especially around the edges/cornice area, and the windows need thorough cleaning. But the toilet and bath were clean, spotless almost, which was a pleasant surprise and a good thing as that is a key area when it comes to cleanliness.
