Clean simple room over the brewery was convenient for dinner and relaxing after. Being right on the main road wasn't loud, but made it a little difficult to get in and out of with traffic, especially with slightly slippery conditions.
Very easy check in process. They let us know due to it being a pub, it would be loud, but it was very quiet and easy to sleep! The pub area was lovely and had a huge chimney fire for everyone to enjoy and keep warm. The room was clean and well kept! Great experience!
The room was very clean and warm. Perfect for a weekend ski trip. Self check in and out. The walls are thin but everyone was quiet by 10. The food at the restaurant was delicious.
Super cute historic building with rooms tastefully appointed with new mattresses and high-end linens, designer soaps and toiletries. Views of the rushing river from the room, walkable to coffee in the morning on Main St. Maple Leaf Tavern across the street was excellent. The pizzas they make here smelled amazing but unfortunately I cant eat pizza so didnt get to try it. Highly recommend, and an amazing value for the price!
Valley Craft Ales is a great brewery. We came to a fundraiser here and decided to book a room to avoid travel afterwards. The room was adequate, a bed and private bath. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff at the brewery were great. Justin made sure everything was good with our accommodations. As we were out most of the day, this Inn worked out well for us.
This is except what is advertised. The location is great. The pizza is amazing. Was a little bummed that the porch and bar weren’t open but the town and people were fantastic.
An old mill converted into a brewery with rooms for rent - how could you go wrong?! Stayed here in a hiking a trip. Rooms are small, but for a place to stay while hiking it was perfect
Very clean and comfortable room with an excellent view of the stream and the trees outside. No TV in the room; perfect for anyone looking for a night away. The walls are thin so if you are sensitive to noise I would not recommend as I could clearly hear my neighbor snoring, however ear plugs are provided in the room should you need them. I would stay here again should I be in the area.
Great location, near Mt. Snow, and beautiful view of the creek.

Liked: Cleanliness
Clean basic rooms. But even they warn you, rooms are very loud and you can basically hear everything. But if you’re looking for a clean basic stay this is it; just remember there’s no front desk and everything is email or text.
The inn is above the brew pub/pizzeria, which is an old ski lodge, which is pretty rustic and very charming. Great deck over the river where you can enjoy pizza and beer. Quiet (when no live music, which is mostly), easy to access. Stairs, basic plumbing, nice location.
Valley Craft Ales is a bar/restaurant on the main floor with guest rooms on the second floor. The building is an old grist mill built in 1828. It is old, and it reads old. If you find that charming (we did), you’ll be fine. If you’re looking for a sparkling new Marriott, keep looking. On Friday nights they have live music in the bar. The band was great, the sound insulation was nonexistent. (Earplugs supplied in the room - no kidding.) Fortunately the music wrapped up by 11. This is not a generic hotel. It’s an adventure, but a good one. The place is clean and functional. The room decor is Bicentennial (yes, as in c. 1976), but somehow it all works. Stay there and have fun.
It was an easy and pleasant stay. Perfect for the price if you are just looking for somewhere to lay your head. We didn't see another human our two days there but we got in late and left early. Most importantly it was clean.
