"I arrived at Ilanga Estate at about 4pm after driving over 650 kms from Durban . I was turned away at the gate and told the hotel is closed . I insisted on going in and going to the bathroom , the security lady wasn’t too happy about that , the entire place was empty , doors locked , nor one car or a single other person. It was traumatic. "Room in need of modernisation. Open area shower and toilets semi open could cause embarrassment or the source of some humour. Bed comfortable but room dark. Family bed area up steep stairs I would not like my young grandchildren to stay up there."
