「Nice facility. A bit of a mistake with first room key. Opened the room and someone else was already there. Got a new key without a problem but a little disconcerting! 」

「The place was very clean. Although the room was missing a wineglass and there was silverware in the sink, everything else was very nice.」

We were in the maple room, which had private access to outside, a nice living room, a small kitchen (no stove), a large bedroom and very comfortable bed, and a semi small bathroom that was laid out well. 「The Old Stagecoach Inn is not an ultra modern hotel and not trying to be. Expect nicely appointed old VT charm, a nice central gathering area with a wood burning fire and comfy chairs + games and puzzles. This is for sure - the breakfasts are really truly great. In the evening, walking access to Waterbury restaurants is also a big win. 」

For such a charming and historical building, the light bulbs in the fixtures - in the rooms and in public areas - were a hodgepodge of various LED "color temperatures." 5000K bright white bulbs are great for a gas station, but totally wrong here where they should be 2700-3000K warm white.
