Room was clean. Pet rooms smell pretty gross though they need new carpeting and the breakfast area is tinnnnyyyy. Waffles for breakfast delicious. Great kitchen staff. The girl at the front desk was pretty rude about early check in and the parking lot was empty.

Breakfast was the usual fare of scrambled eggs, sausage, and carbohydrates. As a person with a gluten allergy, I am wary of eating food prepared in another person’s kitchen. Luckily for me, there was Chex cereal available. More gluten-free foods would be a welcome addition. For example: a small separate area with gluten-free whole grain bread, English muffin, or bagels with a separate toaster or more gluten-free cereals.

The property was clean and the staff was friendly. They except pets which was great but the price for pets was doubled what the price that I paid at a different hotel the night before. They served hot and cold breakfast. They didn't have a laundry but directed me to a clean one not far. Overall a good experience.

The door to the first room we were assigned did not close properly and we did not feel safe in the room knowing someone could look directly into the room through the opening between the door and the door jam. We were in a room with a connecting door so we could all be with our entire family. We were moved to another room, but not a connecting room which took away from our experience of being there together. The hotel did not seem to be completely booked, but they acted as if no other rooms were available to move us to another room with a connecting room. Staff was pleasant but acted as if they were not aware of the door issues and were unable to resolve. We did move to a different room, but we were no longer in a room with connecting door. If we were able to be moved to a new room with a connecting door, the stay would have been perfect, but since this was a priority and not accommodated, it definitely took away from our experience.
