「If you have tried to get a hotel near Traverse City in any time except the dead of winter you know that the prices for hotels are bananas. I was drawn in by a very reasonable price for a weekend stay but I worried that it would be a stone cold dump. When we arrived we were pretty sure we were getting a dump. The parking lot/exterior/lobby is a bit rough. The room however, was pretty good. Comfortable and spacious. Had all the items that you wanted. We didnt use the pool but the indoor pool...

「Our stay at Brio Beach Inn was awesome! Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful! Grounds and beach were beautiful! We loved having a fire on the beach each night of our stay (wood provided by Brio) and met some wonderful people who were also staying there. Breakfast was just enough to start our day and included microwavable breakfast sandwiches, HB eggs, yogurt cereal, milk juice and coffee.」

「Kelsie the manager was awesome!! For a small roadside Inn, it was refurbished, comfortable, and a perfect place located close to town and the lakeshore. And since it rained the night of our stay the covered porch sitting was great for us girls to catch up and relax!! Thank you so much!! 」

「We had less than 1/2 a roll of toilet paper and no extra rolls were in the room. 2 tiny bars of soap, no shampoos or any other amenities. Mattresses were only about 5" thick and were like sleeping on plywood. Pillows were very thin and uncomfortable. One of the bedspreads had a big tear on the top. No fitted sheets on the bed and the sheets that were there kept coming untucked. The place is for sale. It is like they don't care anymore.」
