Top Williamsburg Hotel Reviews

Comfort Inn Williamsburg Gateway
10/10 Excellent
"Very friendly staff, clean, comfortable room with extra comfy beds and fabulous pillows! The complimentary breakfast was very nicely set up and the young ladies attending everything there were very friendly."

Hilton Vacation Club Greensprings Williamsburg

"Laundry , kitchen clean"

Marriott's Manor Club at Ford's Colony
4/10 Poor
"The property was fine, but the front desk staff never told us that parking was an additional $20/day + tax. He simply handed us the parking pass. (This was AFTER our room was not ready at the promised check in time of 4pm. We had to wait almost 2 hours to get into our room.) Nor was the parking fee outlined on our reservation confirmation email from Wxpedia nor the email from Marriott. When I spoke to the manager about it, her reply was, “It’s on our website and all the booking sites. I know because I manage them. It’s also written on the parking pass.” That all may be true but it’s not obvious, and requires the guest to seek it out. We would have selected an alternative parking option with no fee vs. paying the fee. This is unacceptable. As a longtime guest at many of their properties, I expect better from Marriott."

Springhill Suites by Marriott Williamsburg

"Here’s a shorter, more concise rewrite that keeps your voice:
My wife and I stayed here while visiting Williamsburg and had a great experience. From the moment we arrived, the hotel was clean and welcoming, with a pleasant fragrance in the lobby. Amy made check-in quick and easy.
Our handicap-accessible room was spacious and well designed, with grab bars in the bathroom for safety and a very comfortable bed. The staff greeted us warmly at breakfast as well. We would definitely stay here again when we return to Williamsburg."

Days Inn by Wyndham Williamsburg Historic Area
2/10 Terrible
"This is a horrible hotel. It's dirty, loud, moldy and nothing works. The staff are usless and very rude!"

The Colonies at Williamsburg
10/10 Excellent
"Great place for a family to stay! Comfortable, home-like accommodations with fun for the kids and adults!"

Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Williamsburg East (Busch Gardens), VA
8/10 Good
"Hotel parking lot is half destroyed by tree roots and appears under construction. Pool wasn't open, but looked like they are cleaning it or something. We arrived about 40-45mins after 3pm check-in, and rooms were not ready. Another family appeared to to have been waiting ahead of us. They were polite enough to apologize and provide explanation that the hotel had a couple bud loads of people that had checked out that morning. It was not a long wait, but we were moved rooms from what I overheard. The hotel store is very minimal, but meets simple needs. Our room was clean and in order. We paid weekend prices and likely. More because it was one night and not the weekend. I would say that the location is great in relation to Busch Gardens and access to 64 for travelling. It's accessible enough to go through to town for food, shopping, and entertainment. "

Hilton Vacation Club The Historic Powhatan Williamsburg
10/10 Excellent
"Very comfortable apartment. I really appreciated the 2 bedroom/2 bath layout since I was traveling with my sister. No amenities to speak of in the off season. (I was hoping for a relaxing soak in the hot tub one night but there were screaming children everywhere, including an apparently unsupervised 4 or 5 year old in the tub.) We did appreciate the electric car charger--it was slow but our room was close enough we could leave the car overnight. There was an attractive outdoor deck but there was no way we could go out there; it was literally swarming with giant carpenter bees."
