「Staying in a bunkhouse at Highlander was wonderful — free parking on the street just behind, clean room, cute welcome note and unique, welcome vibe overall. Checking in was a little troublesome with no one answering the phone and no parking/unloading details on their website, but once I got to my room, I was delighted. It was just very cute and right in the heart of the main drag in Highlands with so much walkable. The patio out front with free coffee and banana bread in the morning was absolute...

「It was a cute cottage but no one there to greet you or tell you where ice was or microwave that took me a day to find in a lower cabinet. Water I wasn’t sure was left for us?! The brunch at the restaurant was delicious but expensive! Dinner was not offered during our stay as restaurant was closed until Thursday:(. Overall it was ok.」

「Just needed a room for one night while visiting friends who live in the area. This motel was in perfect location for my needs. It’s a rather basic place, nothing fancy. Seems like an older establishment. While there were many cars in the parking lot, it was pleasant and quiet during the night. The room was clean, the bed comfortable. I was happy that there was no wall-to-wall carpet in the room. The only slight minus was that the hair dryer didn’t work. 」

「Really enjoyed the decor inside my room (The Terrace) and outside on the grounds. Parking in the front is nice while the back gravel lot less friendly; paved would be next upgrade! Staff, other guests and the general atmosphere of the place were welcoming and friendly. Definitely would recommend and book again! Wish the fridge had a freezer and ice maker. Would like to add video; only have the one relevant photo. 」

「The suite was cozy, clean, and spacious. The bed was very comfortable and the towels were soft. Because they're working on road repairs, it's about a 15-minutes drive from the suite to US-64. There aren't many places to eat nearby, but the suite has a fully equipped kitchen」
