Amazing Views!

Lovely Guest House, spotlessly clean and well maintained. Jon the owner is very friendly and helpful, will help out with all of your questions of where to eat and what to do around the area. Breakfast was presented beautifully ever morning. Views are amazing.

Beautiful views and a great stay!

We had an amazing stay at Shining Waters this February. The guest house is located on a cliff right next to the ocean with gorgeous views. Too bad you can't really swim in those shark-infested waters, which is why it's nice to have a pool in the garden. The owner was very welcoming and helpful, and his breakfast was super tasty! The only flaw to our stay was that the wi-fi did not reach our room, but that was made clear when we arrived. Strongly recommend!

The views of the ocean are excellent. We stayed in an ocean front room with a very large deck. Cleanliness and amenities were excellent. John (the owner) spent his career in the hospitality business and his experience shows through in Shining Waters.

We stayed at Shining Waters for 2 nights and it exceeded all expectations. Jon (the "Innkeeper") was a fabulous host and nothing was too much trouble for him. Breakfast was great and Jon also baked some cake treats each morning which went down very well! Rooms are spacious and immaculate with amazing views over the ocean. Jon also has 2 small dogs who are lovely and welcoming which also added to our love of this place. Great pool as well which was again, spotless. Location is great with access to the beach close by via some steep steps so beware you'll have some exercise after breakfast! However, it's a 2min drive down the road to easy access to the beach and bars/restaurants so wasn't a problem for us. Will definitely be coming back when in SA again. Thank you Jon for making us feel so welcome.

Very nice, clean and excellent located guest house next to the beach. Also very friendly and well organized manager of the house - many thanks to Jon and his team. Very delicious breakfast every day -> one of my best ever! Beautiful view to the ocean from our terrace and bed. The Shell Suite was great! I will be back soon.

Wonderful Waters

Wonderful service from start to finish: Our host went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for our time at Shining Waters and for our onward journey. The room was clean, spacious and well presented with fabulous views out to sea (with dolphins swimming close by), while the property generally was beautiful. Food was very good also. What more could you ask for?!

Nice guesthouse next to the beach

Lovely guesthouse with really nice owner and staff that is always willing to help (book a table, driver to restaurant, massage). The rooms are nice and clean and especially the ones upstairs have a great view. Breakfast was one of the best I had in SA so far. They offer eggs, bacon but also fresh fruits, musli and a nice choice of cheese and sausages. Really nice guesthouse I will definitifly visit again.

unforgettable!

Nothing less than amazing! Amazing location on a cliff looking out to the ocean. Amazing atmosphere. John, the owner, is a very positive, super helpful and kind person and made everything perfect. rooms were great and breakfast was fantastic. during breakfast on the balcony, we got really lucky and saw whales and dolphins! (and John had the binoculars ready for us) an unforgettable experience for us. thank you for everything!!!
