This property is very clean and the staff work hard to make your stay pleasant. This is an old property with some maintenance issues but the staff switched our rooms right away when we had trouble. The room we ended up in was great. The beds were firm and very comfortable. The lobby smelled of spices.

Very nice place to stay!

We just needed a 1 night stay and it was perfect! Quiet, clean, all lights worked, tub and shower had hot water, desk was nice, tv worked. So many things that you can't necessarily count on these days were working here at a very fair price and nice breakfast!!

My room did not have bed pillows. It had 5 sofa pillows (square 1’ x 1’). The cups provided had a bad smell. Rust and missing grout in bathroom. The room clean and neat. Temperature was perfect for me. I never adjusted the thermostat. The continental breakfast choices were not very good. Coffee machines (different machine each day I was there) functioned, but barely. I would stay there again but would not have very high expectations. Friendly enough people but English didn’t seem to be understood that well except by one young staff person and the person that checked me in. I would stay there again

Not the freshest up to date hotel BUT for the purpose it worked out very well. Practically felt like I was the only one there the whole time, and felt safe and comfortable. Had to leave before breakfast was open every day but im sure it was good grab and go for food or cereals from what I saw when I checked in the first day. 5 stars from me because I like simplicity and peace. I really would have appreciated automatic doors. You have to pull open to get in and it sucked trying to get through because the doors have so much tension to shut back. Two sets of doors like that to get in.

This hotel is in need of an update. Everything is old and no modern amenities like USB plug-ins. The breakfast is also very poor with your only options of a dry cereal, a waffle maker, and reheated, frozen egg and cheese omelet. I can say it was clean.

The bed was clean, however, when you moved from the edge of the bed towards the center, you rolled downhill. The mattress was sunk in the middle. There were cobwebs on the walls by the curtains and around things hanging on the wall. It was noisy, however, that is attributed to being next to the turnpike and the airport. The staff was very friendly & helpful. The breakfast prepared looked good and that area was very clean.

Not the best but not the worst place I’ve stayed

Upon entering the motel, the smell of strong spices clearly enveloped myself and 2 other guests waiting to check in. Understand the manager’s culture but it was not a pleasant scent for most of us. Woman checking us in was very pleasant. We had 2 keys for room and after 2nd try, only one worked but after multiple tries. Multiple guests would comment what our opinion of establishment was and the comment was what I used for my title.

Let me start by saying there are not too many quality hotels in this area, at this price point, that offer convenience, safety, comfort, a satisfying free breakfast, and a good atmosphere. This hotel lacks some of those key qualities. The staff worked really hard to care for my needs. However, this is just an old and outdated facility, and it shows its age. This is especially true when compared to the newly constructed Holiday Inn Express across the street (which, in fairness, is not at the same price point as this hotel). Cons: -breakfast lacked options; no fresh fruit, no variety of juices, only one entree (omelet) -the smell of curry hits you as soon as you open the front door -no elevator (good luck if you're on the second floor with lots of bags) -parking area not well lit (I parked at the Holiday Inn) -pool area closed -vehicle noise (right next to the Kansas Turnpike) -vending machines were essentially empty Pros: -the staff worked hard to care for my needs -some reviews spoke about noisy guests; I did not experience that during my weekend stay -room was clean; no insect/pest activity detected -right off of the highway -in-room AC worked great; and it was on when I arrived -it's cheap Summary: As much as the staff tried, I cannot recommend this hotel; it's old and lacks key infrastructure. If being price-conscious is not an option, just stay across the street at that newly constructed hotel.
