「Modern hotel in an excellent location. Room was spotlessly clean with a big, comfortable bed and plenty of room. Huge bathroom with a waterfall shower. Friendly and helpful staff and lovely food in the restaurant. Reasonable bar prices. Couldnt fault it and had a great stay」

「Great hotel. Plenty of facilities. Well maintained. We stayed here with two kids who loved the place. Nice swimming pool (just be aware that they require swimming hats, so bring or buy one). Breakfast was fine. Scones in the bar were excellent.」

「It’s raining and storming in Dunmore East so we decided to duck into Strand Inn for shelter. When we saw the fresh fish specials of the day, we decided to stay for dinner, too. We fell in love with the staff and decided we needed to stay the night!! It was the perfect decision. We had a lovely breakfast in the morning before we headed on our way. Highly recommended!!!」

「Our 2nd stay for our return journey home. Love this hotel for its friendliness, hospitality and comfort. The Christmas decorations are fabulous and make it extra special. I have one gripe… Seafood Chowder, should include shellfish and smoked fish to which I was disappointed with as it only had white fish. Just call it fish soup.」
