I recently stayed at your property and feel compelled to express my deep disappointment with the experience. I had booked a Superior Room, which is clearly advertised as being over 100 square feet larger than the room I was ultimately placed in. Upon arrival, not only was I informed that early check-in, something I had politely requested 24 hours in advance, was unavailable (which I understood), but when it came time for regular check-in, I was told I was being “upgraded” to a different room. This so-called upgrade was in fact smaller than what I had originally booked, and I was informed this particular room wasn’t even one that is normally posted online. That alone raises questions about transparency in your booking process.
To make matters worse, the room contained a microwave installed in an unsafe and potentially hazardous position, which I immediately reported to staff. This situation not only made me feel misled but also concerned for my safety, something no guest should ever have to feel while staying at a hotel.
In all honesty, this ranks as one of my worst hotel experiences to date and I’ve stayed in well over 100 properties around the world. While I genuinely appreciate the staff who assisted me in retrieving a missing item (and I want to make it clear their help did not go unnoticed), the overall experience, especially dealing with management, left a lot to be desired.
What was presented as an upgrade felt more like a downgrade disguised
