Our two-night stay at the Blackcomb Springs Suites was mostly pleasant, but it had some issues. The hotel’s location is super convenient, and they offer a free shuttle to Whistler Village, which was great. We booked the premium suite, and it was well-equipped with a stunning view of the gondolas moving up and down from our balcony. However, we were supposed to get room service, but it never happened. I called around 4 PM to ask for clean towels and toiletries, explaining we’d manage without full service. The lady on the phone said they were short-staffed and thanked me for being understanding. We left the room and returned around 11 PM, but no towels or supplies were delivered. We had to contact the night shift front desk, and the poor guy working had to personally bring us the items. This was a really disappointing experience, especially for the price we paid. We’ve stayed at many hotels, and this was a first. It’s unfortunate because the hotel’s location and ambiance are beautiful, but the lack of follow-through, likely because I was polite and not demanding, made this stay frustrating.
