This is an old motel that has been somewhat renovated. Decent enough for for passing thru. The breakfast lacked tremendously. The staff was awesome and more than willing to help.

The staff were all very friendly. The property is undergoing renovation. In our room the carpet looked new but the bathroom needed some repairs. It was quiet and fairly clean.

Helpful service at the front desk and clean rooms. The building may be old but looks like recently renovated. The beds were comfortable offering a goodnight’s sleep. Nothing to complain for such a fair price.

I did not feel safe at all!!!!! So much so that I checked in and stayed about a hour then left and going a room 45 minutes away in Douglas. The door lock was broke, to access the room you had to walk down a dark hall way under the stair well. It looks like there some type of bar attached to the hotel so there were drunk people in the parking lot when I was getting my bags. There’s no grass for the dogs to use. It’s right by the highway so it’s very loud. You get what you pay for with this property. DO NOT book here.

No towels

I would have given 5 stars, except the room had not been stocked with clean towels, soap or shampoo. Had to go back to the desk for those items. Also, there was no ice, just melted water! Although it was very nice to come to a motel that was not run by a foreigner!! The room was clean and spacious, the bed was great!

Our room was clean and nice. We had a non-smoking room however it was down a short hallway that smelled heavy of cigarette smoke. So our room smelled like smoke. The staff was friendly.

Staff was great. Had an issue with finding our reservation through Expedia, even with our confirmation number in hand, we still had to contact Expedia to resolve the issue. This issue took more of our valuable time and caused us to be delayed to our next destination. Not the Hotel's fault, they were great, the problem was on Expedia's end.

The room was clean and comfortable but the doors were drafty and light came through sides and bottom. The plastic drapes did not block any of the bright light right outside my window. The only light around a darker vanity was a standing lamp with a shade that didn't allow light to the top of the mirror. The updates that they have done are good-new carpet and paint and the bed was actually very comfortable. Because of limited staff the 'free breakfast' did not start until 7am, which I missed because my departure needed to be earlier.

We found a chicken bone on the floor, from someone before us. There were long dark hairs in the bed and on the pillows, the ceiling looked like it was just rotten and filthy…. We almost left but the weather and fatigue made us stay, we were up and gone by 3:30 am. Did not want to stay a minute longer than necessary. The bathroom was dated, but clean. The other bed was clean and comfortable. The carpet was extremely stained. My dog ate the chicken bone, we got it from him but he obviously ate enough because he woke us up at 3am vomiting…. It was not in any way a pleasant experience. The curtains had a chip clip holding them closed…the furniture (chairs) were stained and dirty….however the staff was pleasant.
