The property was clean and pretty much what you would expect. It was close to the ferry which we were going to take to the island where we were booked for whale watching the next day. Only draw back is there are no close ammenities to eat, buy grocery, etc, so take what you need in food, etc.

Found the bed very noisy. Very small room. Had no shampoo or soap in shower. Arrived at 8 pm and left at 8:45 the next day. We saw no one. Breakfast was very limited. Toast and cereal. Cooked and cleaned ourselves. It was very quite there.

The property is not kept up well. We had “family” room. It was the basement, it smelled gross musty, damp stink. Beds were a wore out futon and a crappy double bed that was not Comfortable. We will not go back and we would not recommend this to anyone.

We checked in the room, and checked out of the room. There were cobwebs on the ceiling and behind the door. The baseboard heaters were rusty and full of dust. There were plastic wrappers under the bed and a white substance on the bedside table. The windowsills were full of black dirt (or mold). A picnic table outside was literally falling apart. The lady at the reception desk was very understanding and refunded our money.

Its rustic feel is authentic with the cove, as warm & welcoming as the locals. Few cricks & cracks in the night but is customary with an old building, can catch a nice view just over the trees in the morning on the left side of the building.

The property info said private bath and shower, however, the shower was shared. The included continental bfast was just cereal and toast. You make everything yourself. Again, not mentioned in the info. We skipped it as we didn't have time to make a pot of coffee. Staff was super nice and helpful though.

We only stayed one night and arrived close to 6pm so very limited interaction, but Crystal was lovely and had a great information packet ready with our keys. I tried to access a walking path to the beach it it was overgrown and hard to find. Our rooms had no AC or even a fan so although it wasn’t hot the room was stuffy. Nice breakfast array of cereal, milk, coffee and eggs we were welcome to prepare whenever we wanted . Much of the furniture and fixtures in kitchen and bathrooms is dated but clean and functional. Campground seemed busy. 30 minutes drive to any other food and they close early 7pm so plan ahead! Would stay here again with more time to explore.

the pictures did not show what I got i was in someones basement with an uncomfortable bed and daybed i heard the poeple up stairs walking around even at 3 in the morning this was NOT an inn i only stayed one of five nights

Good location for exploring Digby Neck and the islands. Wear shoes indoors: the floors are filthy. Everything above floor level appear clean.

Remote but comfortable
Our stay was completely self-service, which worked out fine for us. There were supplies provided which allowed us to prepare a breakfast of french toast. Room privacy was fine, but walls pretty thin. A good stay, overall.

For the price, it is a great place to stay at. The room was clean, TV was small but good enough. We have to share the bathroom/shower with the other people in the house but we love the half bath powder room (just sink and toilet) in our own bedroom. Would stay again.

We had a hard time to find the Inn on the property, bed wasn't comfortable and last but not least, 1/4 of toilet paper.... For 2 people... No refills, will definately not go back, even the sheets on the bed didn't feel fresh

Very convenient to whale watching tour and digby ferry. Providing lots of information about local tourism on paper. Each room of their inn has private powder room which is very convenient. Family friendly.

Our room was super clean. A suggestion would be a small coat rack, closet or hooks of some kind to hang jackets and towels. There is a fridge and microwave and coffee maker but no coffee is supplied. Also advertised free continental breakfast but this was not provided. I would definitely stay here again.

Release the creak-en
The location of this Inn is great for whale watching adventures. The location is also close to other trails etc. They handled our late check-in fine as well. We showed up after 8 and just wanted a good night sleep. This is where our largest problem began. In all my years of sleeping on beds (there's quite a few) I have never ever experienced such a creaky bed. I think the box springs on this mattress has been around since humans have settled on this island. I was scared to move a muscle let alone toss or turn. Everytime one of us turned we invariably woke up the other and ourselves. I had no hope of seeing whales the next day as I was afraid the creak of the springs might have scared them south earlier. The breakfast was self serve and was ok. Eggs, cereal, etc. They do also offer to enter all reviewers into a draw for a 100$ Amazon cert. Though they might not quite find this one worthy of entering into their draw.

It just wasn't what we expected. I will give it a pass because it's hard times right now but the Inn was definitely not clean the way I would have expected. The kitchen cupboards had mouse droppings :( The staff was nice but we were given a "things to do" sheet and not told that the restaurant they recommended wasn't open yet. We'll go back that way but wouldn't stay there.

Never have we seen mouse droppings but we have seen Folger coffee grounds. They get everywhere which is why we are changing over to a keurig instead of a coffee maker so we can use pods. The things to do is more of a booklet we give out with 28 things to see and do in the area. We do recommend places to eat but we cannot know their hours during the Covid as places are using limited hours in some places. For anyone reading this response, please check out our webpages for reviews on how clean our Inn is. Thank you

Lovely, quaint, quiet pace. They allowed our late check in AND we had choice of rooms in house because we where only guests because stayed at end of "season".. Didn't get to meet proprietors, which should have been lovely, just to say thank you. She left us a lovely note explaining where everything was, personalized, just for us!! VERY appreciated!!

Great little stay
My stay was great!! we stayed for one night and we had the entire house to ourselves which was a treat :) Super clean space and there were options if we wanted to have a small bit to eat. I would highly recommend staying here if you get the chance :)
