It was good overall. Room was bit small but rest was convenient. Easily checked in and out. Location was good just 20 min walk to the harbour. Breakfast was good.

Familie mit 2 Kindern, (4 Bettzimmer) - Stockbett steht vor Wand und ist nicht an Wand befestigt (wackelt bei jeder Bewegung); - Frühstück musste im Zimmer eingenommen werden, obwohl im EG ein Restaurant. (Banane, leckere Äpfel, in Folie eingeschweisstes Croissont und Tütenkaffee musste selbst bereitet werden. (1 Stuhl und 1 kleiner Tisch vorhanden) Im Restaurant starker Essensgeruch (Thai) + es wurde gleich ein Stellplatz in der Einfahrt vom Koch freigemacht - es konnte nur das Badfenster geöffnet werden, dass Schlafzimmer Fenster war mit Schraube blockiert - alte Bettwäsche

Stayed at the old castle for 3 nights and we were not disappointed. Very welcoming, friendly proprietors. Excellent breakfast and the room was very well kept. Highly recommended

Quiet location, handy for Rodwell path into Weymouth . Friendly local bar. Excellent breakfast, everthing hot as cooked to order at specific time. Bar meals could be useful addition but plenty of nearby dining options.

Perfect for a couples holiday

Perfectly located near Weymouth and Portland. Great cozy room with very clean and fresh looking en-suite. Breakfast was amazing everyday and the host was so accommodating and friendly. Will definitely be staying again!

Very good location

We stayed for three nights. It is located in a quiet residential street and a very short distance from a trail which leads to the town centre and Chisel Beach. We enjoyed our evening walk after dinner. Both Portland and Durdle Door are less than 15 minutes drive away. Chisel Beach is only 20 minutes walk. I would recommend to take some lunch and spend a few hours on the beach. A very pleasant three days break and we had the perfect weather as well.
