lovely looking pub, check in was not over friendly with very little by way of welcome or instruction. Room at first glance was lovely but lots of small issues with either bits broken or poor cleanliness. Tv has lead dangling from it and does not connect.

Beautiful pub stay

Wonderful place, I stayed in room 5 which was decorated really beautifully and had everything I needed... comfortable bed, iron/board, huge TV with Sky TV (connection a little tricky at first), impressively stocked mini bar and snack basket, large airy bathroom with a waterfall shower, really nice toiletries. Staff were also excellent and very friendly.

Disappointing and neglected!

I’ve stayed here a few times, but sadly it feels increasingly neglected and a little tired. My room was very dusty, and both the toilet and shower tray hadn’t been properly cleaned. The lady on reception was helpful and gave it a quick clean as no other rooms were available, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, noise from guests in the garden area (which my room overlooked) went on past 12:30am, making it hard to get any rest. I don’t usually write negative reviews, but as someone who stays in the area weekly, I’ve found other hotels to be a much better option.

Nice place

Had a lovely couple of days. Room ok, bit on the small side but adequate for 2 days. Had Sunday lunch which was ok, think we were a bit late so maybe not as fresh as earlier in the day. Breakfast very good. Everyone who works there very friendly and good service.

Friendly & helpful staff. Excellent air conditioning! Good breakfasts. Found the bed in room 6 a bit too hard. Had problems with TV.

The room was spacious and well-designed, with a large bathroom featuring a freestanding bath and shower. It was a lovely space overall, though it was unfortunately not very clean, especially the bathroom. The bedding, however, was fresh and clean."

Room 6 smelt damp and frankly the shower base had a good inch of mould around the edges. Shame really as it was my third time staying at the hotel

Needs a cleaner bathroom

Our bathroom was a little dirty. Black water stains around the top of the toilet bowl and a thick layer of dust on the magnified mirror.

Very nice an cosy hotel.

We had a very nice stay! Nicely decorated room and friendly staff. The breakfast was not european standard ( no butter, no cheese and no ham was inkluded .We did not try the Full Enlish breakfast though )
