An old property which must cost a fortune to maintain. Clearly they are working their way around and the rooms were excellent and good value. Can’t comment on rest as it was just a bed we needed for a family party. Will stay again

Excellent and charming hotel. Very clean and very helpful staff. We weren't in a condition to utilize the amenities as we had just come in from a long days journey with redirected and rescheduled flights and unfortunately could not partake of the breakfast in the morning due to the timing of your flight out from Heathrow. That said, the hotel and staff were lovely and we could imagine the meals and amenities would have been top notch.

Nice hotel with walkable grounds, spacious rooms and a airy lobby with a bar and lots of seating areas. Staff very friendly & helpful. Breakfast buffet was decent but not as good as I expected for the price tag. The room did not have a refrigerator or ice, nor is there an elevator if you can't carry your luggage upstairs.

We have stayed there before. We love th hotel. We stayed there the time that the Covid lockdown started just before Christmas. We had to travel to the US on Boxing Day. They were so helpful with us then, so we always return when we are in that area.
