Luft nach oben

Das Haus hat einen alten Kern aus Fachwerk, welchen man im Keller (Frühstücksbereich) gut sehen kann. Der Rest des Hotels ist sichtlich in die Jahre gekommen. Stellenweise wird es gerade renoviert, die Bäder haben jedoch noch immer den Charme der 70er Jahre. Das Frühstück ist sehr übersichtlich und lässt eine gewisse "Freude am Morgen" vermissen. Für einen geschäftlichen Aufenthalt in Wetzlar ist das Haus geeignet, wenn gleich die Parkplätze extrem eng gestaltet sind.

Alt und schmutzig

Leider wurde ich sehr enttäuscht. Das Hotel ist mehr als schmuddelig, alt, einfach abgenutzt. Ich hatte zwar ein renoviertes Zimmer aber leider auch hier war der Schmutz nicht zu übersehen. Das Treppenhaus und der Eingangsbereich war mit Teppichboden ausgelegt, der schon seine beste Zeit hatte und während meines Aufenthalts auch nicht gesaugt wurde. Restaurant war nicht geöffnet!!! Bei der Kaffeemaschine funktionierte die Milchabgabe nicht, gelbe Milchreste im Schlauchsystem, ekelig! Hausmeister warf Handschuhe bei Nichtgefallen einfach das Brötchen zurück in den Brotkorb. So schlecht angetroffen habe ich schon lange kein Hotel mehr.

Außer Saison und trotzdem gut, Zimmer etwas aus der Zeit gekommen, aber ok. Frühstück gut. Ich gehe davon aus, dass das Flair im Frühling oder Sommer ein Highlight ist. Wir waren dienstlich unterwegs, das Wetter, na ja. Trotzdem Historisch wertvoll!

Schlecht in jeder Hinsicht

Seit 50 Jahren nicht modernisiert, Zimmer wirkt wie eine Zeitkapsel und heruntergekommen, Check-In nach 18:30 nur in anderen Hotel machbarer ohne Info vorab.

Altes Haus mit Charme?

Das Hotel hat die besten Zeiten hinter sich. Check-in-Automat funktionierte nicht, Zimmer alt, Matratze durch, Dusch-Badewanne mit schmutzigem Duschvorhang. Parkplatz viel zu eng. Im Wettbewerb zu den anderen, teils neuen Hotels max. preislich interessant.

Obemannad reception orsakade svårigheter.

Receptionen var stängd, så vi måste uppsöka ett annat hotell för att checka in och äta frukost. Både incheckning och frukost fungerade bra, men det var lite besvärligt.
