Ocean Paradise Hotel and Resort

"We stayed here for our annual Ocean Shores girls’ trip, our 2nd year at this hotel, and the improvements under new ownership were noticeable. The lobby and breakfast area looked much nicer, and the hotel felt significantly cleaner overall, w/ the musty smell from last year gone. Parking was easy, with convenient access in the back and hallway entry to our room from either side. We stayed in a second-floor oceanfront suite with a private balcony. It included 2 queen beds, a couch, refrigerator, microwave, small table with two chairs, and possibly a coffee maker (unused). Our group of 5, 2 adults and 3 children, had plenty of space without feeling crowded. The pool and hot tub were warm and a good size. While the pool area is dated, it appeared well maintained, and we often saw staff checking chemicals. Seating is limited, however, with only 2 lounge chairs and 2 Adirondack chairs. The updated pool towel system, now picked up at the front desk, was an improvement, ensuring towels were always available. Our only consistent issue was limited housekeeping supplies, as we had to request additional toilet paper and towels twice during our 3-night stay. The complimentary breakfast was still a nice perk but more limited than last year and now ends at 9:30 a.m. Options included eggs, sausage, waffles, two cereals, coffee, and two juices (no orange juice), but fresh fruit, yogurt, bacon, and potatoes were missing. Overall, we had another great stay and would return."

"I liked everything especially the swimming pool. It would’ve been nice if the hours were a little later or earlier in the morning. Beautiful view of the ocean! Nice yard with many things to do such as volleyball, basketball, kids play yard, picnic tables, fire pits, and more. this"
Westport Marina Cottages

"These are all "tiny home" cottages. Super cute, facing the Westport Marina. Queen bed (very comfortable), complete kitchen with microwave, 2 burner stovetop, fullsized fridge, and even a dishwasher. It's small, but larger than a large hotel room. Oh! Corner jetted tub, too, in the living room area. Each cottage has a dedicated parking spot. Check is remote with the office texting you a door code. Housekeeping came by every morning offering towels or whatever was needed. Had a great time watching the horbor, fishing boats coming and going. A few sea-lions prowling the waters. Stayed 2 nights. Would stay several more if we could have. We couldn't be more happy."

"Nice clean, recently refreshed little hotel. We booked a small 1 bedroom suite for 2 nights and had a pleasant stay. The entry via electronic lock and code was convenient and simple. I rated the service as 5 star but in reality we never saw or spoke to anyone from the hotel. A simple amenity that we always appreciated is the Roku TV that allows us to log into our regular apps rather than be stuck with only local TV. Bed was comfortable, small kitchen stocked with essentials, reasonably comfortable couch. The little suite was on a partial inside corridor so not much for a view but that wasn’t what we booked the room for."
