「Overnight stay on an Irish road trip. Very good hotel which on the whole we thoroughly enjoyed. There were a couple of issues but these were resolved in a reasonable manner. Would definitely recommend this hotel for a stay in Westport 」

「The Wyatt Hotel was an excellent stay! We had initially desired to drive on to the next stop given the ahead trip schedule but could not cancel our reservation with The Wyatt Hotel. It worked out though as Westport has AMAZING places to eat, all within walking distance of the hotel! Hotel staff were nice and the room was great! 「The suite we were in had a large wrap around set of windows. Great view but the darkening curtains need attention or replacement. The rail was damaged making it very difficult to close the curtain. I had to stand on a chair and carefully bring it along to close. 」

「The double room was small but very comfortable,with comfortable bed. TV channels a poor selection and unwatchable in the evening because picture kept breaking up. The pool & spa facilities are excellent! & breakfast was delicious! Over all a very pleasant stay - though somethings do need improving. 」

「Overall this hotel is really nice. Most of the staff are wonderful. The interiors & menu/food options could do with an upgrade. Overall a very good experience. The only thing i would say is that we had a few situations where we ordered tea & drinks & dirty cups/glasses were given to us.」

「Enjoyed the location very much, easy 15 minute walk into Westport. Our room was clean and stocked with coffee and tea. Patrice provided us some excellent dining suggestions. Our only issue is the plumbing in the bathroom. The toilet was tricky, the hot and cold taps on the sink were reversed and the shower was slow draining. Having said that we would stay again with the understanding that we did not book a 4 star B&B, nor did we pay the price for one. Overall good value for the money.」

「We ended up staying in Hotel Newport at very short notice. Staff were lovely and although rooms were dated, they were clean. Did not spot the kettle the first night so was disappointed by that as I thought there was none. However, the cupboard that contained the tea/coffee etc was pointed out to me the next day - would have preferred it's location to be more obvious. Cooked breakfast choice was excellent and the food served was good quality. Unexpectedly got to join the town's Nephin Beggers...

「The Old Mill Hostel is housed in a historic building dating back to around 1780, it brings a lot of charm to the place while everything has been well renovated. The staff is very welcoming. Thomas paid attention to details and made sure every guest feels at home. Bedrooms and linen are comfy which makes guests sleeping well and being nice. 「Our stay was excellent. Beautiful cottage in an excellent location, close to Castlebar with good road connections for touring the beautiful county of Mayo. The hosts Declan and Laura are very welcoming and very accommodating. Absolutely lovely people. A real genuine "Cead Mile Failte" is felt here. Fantastic coastal views from the kitchen & main living room areas. Local taxi-service organised at short notice when required. Could not recommend highly enough.」
