「My parents and I had dinner and stayed a night at The Fourth Lock before heading home the next morning. The food was delicious and the restaurant's ambiance was wonderful with beautiful views of the lake. The room we stayed at was very spacious, clean and comfortable and also had an excellent view of the lake. Highly recommended!」

「Highly recommend this Hotel if you are visiting Halifax. It is located in the North End and only about 20-25 min walk to Boardwalk. This area is up and coming with great restaurants, bars and shopping. The staff are very responsive and friendly.」

「 Can’t beat this hotel! Love staying here. We were greeted as loyal guests and received a hand written note and chocolates to thank us for return visits. We love the spa like pool floor. We were slightly disappointed on this visit because there were several kids screaming and splashing in the pool. It would be great to have a sign indicating that it is a quiet zone to preserve the spa-like atmosphere. 」
