"The inn is conveniently located next to the Gettysburg National Cemetery and close to the Gettysburg National Military Park Museum and Visitor Center. It is a charming old fashioned building, decorated with lots of civil war paintings. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a balcony. The "simple American breakfast" turned out to have more variety choices than we expected and the attendant made sure it was constantly replenished. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this inn."

"Toilet was dirty and a cup was on the floor under the sink. The plastic cuts aren’t even wrapped so they could have been used before. Woke up the next morning and no hot water. Tried to use the phone to call the front desk and there was no phone in the room. When I left I asked about the hot water and she said they have been out of hot water since last night and they are waiting on a plumber. This was at 9am. With a hotel full of people you wouldn’t pay for an emergence visit?"

"Great location in downtown Gettysburg to walk to many shops and restaurants. The bar and the bartenders were great. Breakfast in One Lincoln was very good and staff were friendly and attentive. One negative thing was that we stayed for two nights and our room was not made up on the second day. They had staff available for this they just didn't do it."

"Our TV was not working. Things were missing from our bathroom, and when we asked for the items, they did not bring them. So I had to go down to the front desk to ask again for the items. They forgot to clean our room, even though I specifically asked them to do it, so we had to ask for new towels. Breakfast, for the price, was the quality you would normally get at another hotel for free. A lot of people had issues, and I would see them complaining at the front desk. "

"Location, location, location! Older hotel that is currently under construction for improvements. Also the boiler has gone out and there was a machine that ran all night. The hotel rooms are on the outside of the building but this was not an issue for us. Just the noise of the machine was irritating. Upon arrival the staff was welcoming and helpful. Room was clean. Breakfast buffet is served. I would stay here again when all construction is completed. Many restaurants and shopping are within walking distance. "
