Very nice and charming hotel

Very charming hotel with an old section and a newer one. We were in the old section, but our rooms were very nicely redecorated. Super friendly staff, and excellent location, comfortable beds, and nice breakfast

2 hotels in 1

Room was comfortable, quiet and clean but a bit dated. We arrived at the hotel Altes Stadthuis and were told that our room was in a different hotel, Hotel Busch across the town square. Not a big deal but I would have wanted to know in advance that we were staying in a different hotel. No elevator and we struggled a bit with our heavy suitcases up the stairs. Breakfast was good and served in Altes Stadthuis. Overall a good stay.

Freundlichkeit lässt hier zu wünschen übrig

Buchung über Portal mit Filter Haustier erlaubt. Nach einer Woche dann eine Info, dass die gebuchte Zimmerkategorie (moderne Juniorsuite) keinen Hund erlauben würde und man uns zu gleichen Konditionen dann ein Doppelzimmer mit Balkon anbieten könnte. Vor Ort war dann allerdings wieder eine Umbuchung nötig, weil in dem umgebuchten Doppelzimmer auch kein Hund erlaubt ist. Wie bitte? Man hat uns das doch entsprechend mitgeteilt - was ein Chaos! Das dann zugeteilte Doppelzimmer war dann allerdings alt und unrenoviert, der Teppich fleckig - während die eigentlich gebuchte Juniorsuite renoviert und modern gewesen wäre. Das ganze dann zu gleichen Konditionen unverschämt. Auf unsere Anfrage hin, ob man uns preislich dann entgegen kommen könnte, wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass man das mit der Geschäftsführung klären würde. Am nächsten Morgen wurde uns dann ein "Rabatt" von 5% angeboten, sonst nichts. Wir sind dann kurzfristig nach der einen Nacht abgereist und haben uns ein neues Hotel gesucht, indem unser Hund nicht nur geduldet, sondern auch wirklich willkommen war. Obwohl ein Restaurant im Hotel war, konnten wir abends nicht mehr dort essen. Man hat uns vorher aber auch nicht darüber informiert, dass man hätte einen Tisch dort reservieren müssen. Alles in allem waren wir am meisten enttäuscht über die Seniorchefin morgens, die einfach null Interesse daran hatte, das Ganze Serviceorientiert zu regeln. Nicht zu empfehlen

An sich ein sehr nettes Hotel mit schönen Zimmern und sehr guter Lage - erfüllt bis auf eine Ausnahme alles, was man sich von einem Drei-Sterne-Hotel erwartet. Nämlich: Das Frühstück. Laut Aushang (für Nicht-Hotelgäste) 18€ wert, sucht man bei diesem Frühstück verzweifelt nach etwas ansprechendem, das man nicht ohnehin jeden Tag isst. An einem Tag fehlten Brötchen und Ei, die Bedienung in der Küche wirkte unfreundlich und der Kaffee war zu wässrig, um eine Bewertung zuzulassen. Abgesehen von dem unglücklichen Frühstückserlebnis dennoch ein ordentliches Hotel mit schönem Biergarten.
