Staff very helpful. Arrived early and they checked us in anyhow. Cozy comfortable little suite with private bath. Only stayed 1 night so hard to really nitpick. Our stay was nice.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Room was clean and staff was friendly. Would stay again when visiting Yellowstone
We stayed in the family suite. It was big enough for our group of 6. It was clean, and cozy. It was great to have the space. My kids came with me at check in, and they all commented on how nice the owner was. They said the world needs more people like her.
A very nice stay. Well priced for the area and had a fun cabin feel. Property was dated but well maintained and clean. It was not a bad thing, it reminded my wife and I both of visiting our grandparents!
We had a great 2 night stay at the Pioneer Motel. We used the motel as our homebase to explore Yellowstone National Park. It was perfect. Comfortable, good shower, good bed. All the amenities you would expect: large refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Bring your own coffee if you expect a high grade coffee. Ice machine was great for the hot days.
Location is excellent. Staff was very helpful. Rooms are dated, but that’s the charm of it. We would have liked a mini fridge and a hair dryer, but definitely not a deal breaker.
In the last 30 years of hotel/motel stays, I can only remember a handful that stood out. This stay will always stand out in my mind. So unique and comfortable. Loved the courtyard with the old school seating etc. The rooms were so well done, you would think you were back in the 60s If we ever get back to Bozeman, we wouldn't stay anywhere else but the Pioneer
Such a sweet lady checking us in. We stayed in the family mobile home and it was just right! My kiddos did not want to leave. Cute little, whimsical, eclectic motel/cabins. There is a laundry mat across the street as well as a Running Bear pancake house.
The place is old and needs updating. The walls are paper thin and I had very loud neighbors. My door had a key but I could not get it to lock. I put the chain on the door and hoped for the best. There were also no plugs by the bed for charging or CPAP users. The only plugs that I found were in the bathroom and were the make shift counter for the fridge and microwave were. The shower was extremely small. Not enough room to bend over comfortably.
The bed was comfortable and had lots of pillows. They had dish tv.
OK, so this motel is the opposite of modern. However, it so fits the location and why you’re probably visiting. It gives old-fashioned pioneer vibes, but it does so in a way that still allows all of the conveniences. However, the main reason why I was so impressed with this place were the people managing it. From the man who was conducting maintenance, but was immediately helpful with parking to the sweet office lady that we roused from bed to help us unlock our room when we inadvertently locked ourselves out, everyone was so nice and helpful. Our entire stay was really nice. The people made the place.

We expected a room like the photos. Instead we received a room with a 3.5ft x 3.5ft standup shower where the shower curtain stuck to you, water was constantly in my eyes and didn’t drain properly. Stained carpet, flooring and chairs. The room was smaller than expected. The bed however was comfortable, clean and tidy. If you do choose to stay there, don’t stay in room #2. I wouldn’t make the same choice staying in West Glacier.
The price was great, so dealing with a few inconveniences happens. There wasn't a coffeemaker or microwave in our room, so our plan to have microwaved dinners didn't work! We bought a little coffee maker and some coffee. Had we asked they had extra coffee pots available. So ask before you buy. I don't know if they might have had a microwave or not. It was comfortable. The water in the shower hard to keep one temp, but I got clean. The ac/heat unit was either hot or cold! But it worked! I'm sure I wouldn't take my older parents there, but for me and my kids, I'd stay there again.
Super easy access to Yellowstone NP.
