Our family recently stayed at the Super 8 in West Kelowna, renting two rooms, and overall we had a very good experience. Parking was super easy with lots of availability, and the location is excellent—right off the main highway, making it very accessible. There’s a gas station just across the street and a Walmart plus several restaurants within a 5-minute drive, which made it very convenient for anything we needed.
The rooms were a good size for a family stay and came equipped with a fridge and microwave, which we appreciated. While the rooms were relatively clean, we did notice that daily housekeeping wasn’t always consistent, which was a bit of a letdown—but nothing that ruined the trip.
The complimentary breakfast was a highlight—lots of variety with fruits, juices, coffee, muffins, hard boiled eggs, and even a waffle station to make your own fresh waffles. A really nice touch that our whole family enjoyed. The pool was also a bonus, perfect for those cooler or gloomy days when you want the kids to burn off some energy indoors.
Location-wise, it’s a decent drive into central Kelowna, and there’s a beautiful beachside park just 9–10 minutes down the hill that’s perfect for a family picnic or relaxing by the water.
Would I stay here again? Yes, I would. While there’s always room for improvement, especially with housekeeping, we had no major complaints. It’s a solid, convenient, and family-friendly place to stay in West Kelowna.
