Attitude of staff, all guest are as important not just coach party, making people sit together just because they have not laid up enough tables for all the guests. Laziness. Out side the property was in a mess grass not cut and abandon equipment all over the place again, Laziness

Surprising

Was very pleasantly surprised. I wasn't expecting much, perhaps something a bit small in the middle of nowhere. However, the buildings are characterful, the surrounding countryside scenic and the staff very helpful, friendly and efficient. The room was clean and comfortable although perhaps slightly dated. Breakfast was also good. Easy to reach by car and with plenty of parking, not so sure about public transport though, although it is just outside a reasonable sized town. I highly recommend it.

Comfortable Stay Close to Nordlingen

A hotel with a surprising number of amenities, including a bowling alley, foosball, tennis courts, fitness room, and pool. It would probably be a great place to stay with kids. The room was clean and quite spacious (I was put into a suite although I hadn't reserved one). It was right on the Romantic Road and was surrounded by picturesque farm fields. Staff was very helpful. It was conveniently located not too far from two places I wanted to visit, Nordlingen and Harburg Castle. Would probably have been a bit difficult to get to if you were traveling by bus or train although the surrounding area would make for great cycling.
