Let’s start with Cons…. It’s July 4th weekend and the pool was not available although it’s listed an available amenity. I only came here because the pool was said to be open. Imagine my surprise when they tell me it is not. 🙄 The TVs in the room did not work. There was no cable, no direct tv, nothing. Pros: Rooms were clean, although there were the one or two bugs. Bathrooms were clean and fresh clean towels were provided. The train did the scare us a few times but it was fine. For the future, you should list on your site or send a message to guests when they reserve that the pool is not working.

I apprecuated the fact rhat they were accomodating to my situation. I did not like the fact that it was noisy up til midnight, there were bugs in the place, and a bath towel was not in the room upon arrival.

Run down, little to no heat on a night in the 40’s. Cheap, hard mattress and barely stuffed pillows. Had a weird old musty/moldy smell. Drapes partly hanging off A broken rod that wouldn’t allow them to remotely close all the way (huge window right on ground level) weak ass Wi-Fi that constantly cut out. I will say for what it was it seemed clean and had shockingly high water pressure in the shower. Not so much in the sink or toilet though. Little to no lighting outside. I was looking for a cheap, minute room so, whatever, it was what it was.

What an adorable vintage motel! I truly felt like we had stepped back in time; to maybe 1967. Our check-in process was quick and easy. The lady who assisted us was very friendly as she handed us an actual key! We walked past a white picket fenced pool to our room. As we entered our wood-paneled room, the bedspread reminded me of my grandmother’s home. We folded back the spread to reveal a fuzzy green blanket, another relic from my childhood. Upon further exploration, we discovered baseboard heating and an AC wall unit. What a surprise to learn the the king-sized bed was the most comfortable place we’ve slept all week. The cleanliness was a 10, not a speck of dust anywhere! And for food, there is a lovely diner just a few steps away.

Very pleasant stay. Only thing was the parking lot became a little congested. We were unable to park in front of our room the second night because the people in the room next to ours had a giant truck which prevented us from using our spot. Fortunately, there was an open space two doors down.

Location was great. ease in parking also a plus; Disliked that no instructions were provided for use of TV. Also disliked the smell of cigarette smoke so close to our room(sign on outside of building restricted smoking to be no closer than 20 feet from building)

Overall, it was fine. The room was nothing special, the bed was lacking pillows and blankets. Nothing was well done, but it did have a TV, mini fridge, and microwave so that was nice. There are multiple permanent residents and they leave enormous messes. Every public garbage can full, and heaps of beer, soda, coffees, etc on their front porches. The office where you check in was also a mess. The dumpster next to the office was empty, but had piles of garbage and litter around it. It was alarming how much garbage was lying around. Other than the garbage, it was a "get what you pay for" place. Nothing great, just a place to sleep. I would just bring my own pillows and blankets next time lol.

Unit #7: Trains passed by several times during the night, blowing their “whistles” loudly while passing. TV was difficult to operate. Room and bathroom were clean. Fridge and microwave worked well. Check in was easy.

an ok place to stay but definitely dated. not updated for todays electronics. coffee available 24 hrs but only if water and pods are available to put in the kuerig. too cold to use the pool but looked ok.
