Rocky Branch Overlook taken from Jailhouse Rock, Red River Gorge, Kentucky USA

Double arch is one of many arches and beautiful hikes you can take within the gorge. The larger arch is just below a narrow arch just a few feet high and about 15 feet wide.

The hike takes you along the walls of the gorge carved out by water. We took a loop trail, a nice 10 mile hike that takes you from the ridge of the gorge through the Meadows and across and up the other cliff to view the gorge from both sides.

Having fun with our Boy Scouts at Daniel Boone State park.
