Customer service was great with clear check-in instructions and also was very accommodating in allowing an early check in 😊 Affordable and in the best central location with secure entry and exit into the building. The accommodation was a nice space with a balcony My only feedback is that: - check in email only arrived a few hours before check which made it difficult to plan ahead and find the best parking building or locate where the building was at all as there isn’t any signage. - it would have been good to know ahead that you have to carry all your luggage up 2 flights of stairs - there were only a couple of glasses and a 2-3 wine glasses which seemed strange - there was absolutely no air con but we were provided 2 standing fans which unfortunately didn’t do much.

Good location very noisy at night Property could do with some tlc Shower door did not close so water everywhere. But very responsible for the cost, clean and tidy had everything we needed.

Excellent location for walking to all the shops, te Papa, waterfront and bus stops at front door. However a lot of homeless now frequent the area (not property fault but Wellington council etc) and they sleep on the streets below. A lot of fights & arguments so not the Wellington central we used to know… property did not have a balcony as we thought we’d booked that specifically. No good sleeping 5 as sofa bed is not good enough for an adult very uncomfortable & not enough suitable bedding to be warm. No extra bedding provided. Was very clean just getting too old really. And price reflects this I guess. Easy check in etc.

WORST ACCOMMODATION EVER!!

I've travelled the world and stayed in accommodation that covers the full range of 'stars' and I can honestly say this was the worst I have ever seen! The accommodation we got wasn't even featured in the photos on this site. The apartment block itself also stank, was filthy and was clearly being used to house homeless people. STAY AWAY FROM THIS ACCOMMODATION.

Though this accommodation was convenient to everything it is in a desperate need of refurbishment. The lobby smelled of boiled cabbage. Also, the place is quite noisy from the street noise below. Double windows with decent curtains may help to reduce the noise level.

Property was not what was shown in the photos or advertised. Had to walk up multiple flights of stairs; room was very shabby; dog excrement and trash all around the entrance. We couldn’t stay there is was so disgusting.

This was a very disappointing stay. The property has some major flaws and cleanliness issues, when these were addressed with the manager I was dismissed. Major leak in bathroom, water was running down the wall, mould problems in bathroom, no where to hang wet towels, oven knob missing, carpet was dirty in lounge, no additional blankets in middle of winter, recliner in the in lounge room does not recline. Stairs are way too steep and too small, you cannot put your entire foot down, you have to walk sideways up the stairs or risk falling - which I did! Location was great but apartment needs some work and managers need to be more concerned with safety with respect to mould issue and falling hazard. Would not recommend or stay here again.

Well it starts at the lift smelling of mould. Then the apartment is dirty, Like filthy dirty. The kitchen plug is hanging out the wall, mould in the bathroom, the duvet covers are stained, the windows that don't lock....etc etc Enjoy your stay if you book!!!

Weekend in Wellington

Booked this apartment last minute, through last minute .com which was probably a mistake - the web site was not particularly helpful and the call centre I called was unable to help with any queries. The contact phone number they gave for contacting the apartment didn’t exist, and the information they provided about car parking was not correct. The apartment is in an excellent location almost on Cuba street and walking distance from all amenities. We had a great stay and the owner was extremely helpful. The weather was great and Wellington is extremely easy to navigate (not by car - many one way roads) which allowed us to visit all of the top ten rated visitor attractions. The museum on the water front is superb.

No lift for the top 2 floors which we didnt know until the day of arrival. There was no extra security lock or chain on the entrance door. The door frame to the outside deck was old and damaged.

It just felt dirty. None bar 2 of the lights were working and when I went to use the lamps on either side of the bed, after 1 minute the switch for them was incredibly hot. Not safe at all.

Very central location but the apartment itself was very shabby. The banister of the stairs was broken. The fridge was switched off when we got there so there was a drawer full of water in the freezer and the milk they left was unsafe. There was an empty hand soap dispenser in the bathroom. It is a noisy area at night and you could hear everything happening outside from the front bedroom. One of the tv remotes was missing. The couch was close to falling apart. I would say this apartment would be fine for people in the city to party but definitely not for a family.

I have never ever had the displeasure of staying in a more dirty, falling apart, noisy, malodorous apartment in my life. From mound in the kitchen bin, flies on the window sills, dirty shower and 2 small Kmart fans to cool a 30 degree day with no air conditioning on site! We could not dispose of rubbish as codes did not work. The lift smelt like urine and toilet spray. Booked 4 nights and only stayed one. These people would not answer the phone when I called and txt back that they were busy. I booked another hotel. They refused to refund any of our money at all. Took the shine off our holiday. So, so disappointed. This place needs us be taken off the internet for accommodation until it is clearly up to scratch. DO NOT BOOK.
