The room, while a little dated, was very clean and comfortable. It had the amenities we were looking for and was within walking distance of the cable car, Te Papa, Cuba street and the Oriental bay areas. In addition, our arrival was delayed until about 10 pm, 2 hours past the time the reception desk is staffed. Within minutes of me informing them by phone that we would be late they sent me the information for late check-in which was a very easy process and did not delay us reaching our room.

Well located and comfortable room. Converted historical office building so not as modern as other Quests. Kitchen was okay, water failed but got fixed 4 hours later. Staff friendly. Not a bad place to stay for 2 nights but more would be disappointing.

The noise in the early mornings was horrible. A loud bang like a pile driver. The room was tired and needs updating. We couldnt access our room on Thursday and the wifi turned off shortly after? We werent due to leave until Friday. The staff were the best and sorted everything out when we asked.

Staff were great, friendly, welcoming, helpful. Room was spacious, bed comfortable and all amenities needed present. The location is very convenient for a city visit. The room was slightly shabby, worn paintwork around the kitchen and the bathroom door latch was missing, but otherwise everything was set up for a comfortable stay.

Staff are helpful and friendly and it's a fantastic location right in the centre near the main street, Lambton Quay. Don't miss the underground dining and shopping mall in the building next door - entrance is next to Starbucks. Best place to eat here! The Quest apartments are lovely although a bit dated - personally I liked the homely old feel. Comfortable beds, quiet and secure. Don't miss the Wellington cable car - only a few minutes from the Quest.

Tidy and clean but needs a revamp, rooms are tired and very basic. Chairs were falling apart, no doors on cabinets in bathroom. Horrible coffee selection and UHT milk. Great shower though. For the money charged we have stayed in much better condition Quest apartments. Bit sad unfortunately. Reception staff were amazing very helpful.

The locality was great for our needs. The bed was v comfy and room was warm. Good facilities in room just could have been better with two mor milk pottles! The only negative is the extremely noisy plumbing while someone is showering. It was my 2nd visit and I would Choose it again
