Called this one "move away". As we were heading back to the way out, stopped by the lake to check on the marabou birds. Looks like the spot was crowded. #lifeatexpedia

Took to Welgevonden hoping to see this one. We had just stop for a light snack when bushmen and park rangers shouted "leopard, leopard"; we rushed back to the truck and our amazing driver blocked the other vehicules so we could witness this beast come out of the bush. I was at the back of the truck and he walked out in front of me. Soo intense. #lifeatexpedia.

Right before spotting the leopard (see other pic) we got to see hippo mummy and baby out of the water. Soo cute. #lifeatexpedia

This is, of course, a bush camp, ina private game reserve about 3 hours drive from Joburg. We were droppped off at the main gate by a driver arranged through the African Pride Hotel in Melrose Arch-all went well.
