The owners of the Everest Inn Bed and Breakfast are the best. They were welcoming, kind, and funny! Breakfast was always a joy, with good food and pastries as well as great conversation. I stayed for 6 days, and loved it!

The Everest Inn is a beautiful B and B in a nice location of Wausau. When I booked the reservation, I was under the impression our room had a private bathroom. I was surprised to find out that none of the rooms do, and that we would share the bathroom with the other residents of the home. I felt the bathroom could have been cleaner, but our room and the rest of the house were comfortable. Breakfast was delicious!

Lovely historic home.
Run by a very nice couple - but there were a few little glitches that need to be rethought.
The second floor rooms share a bathroom -and there is a powder room on first floor. Second floor ran out of toilet paper when we were getting ready for bed. Hosts had retired for the evening. Lower level powder room was nearly out as well. Checked cupboards in both bathrooms and any open closet or cupboard and zilch. In the morning ONE roll was placed on the back of the tank in the powder room. That's it ??? - There are cupboards in both bathrooms that could hold multiple rolls but no spare rolls were added. Weird and VERY inconvenient.
What a beautiful home for a B&B. You felt like you were "home" immediately, and greeting with a pleasant and happy experience with the owners. The rooms were decorated beautifully. We shared a bath with three other rooms, but that didn't seem to be a problem. We had a great buffet breakfast waiting for us when we arrived in the kitchen the next morning. Everyone staying was talkative and eager to learn about you....very friendly. The owners tried very hard to make us feel at home...highly recommend this place.
This Inn is a historical home in downtown Wausau. Proprietors are friendly and very accommodating, and they love to cook!.
Each room is clean, comfortable and can meet your sleeping needs. Great fluffy towels, hot showers, hot coffee, and a gas fireplace right in the room were my favorites.
I will return.
