"‘Immaculate’ That’s a joke! This property was dreadful, messy and filthy, unsuitable for renting and definitely not appropriate to be advertised on hotels.com. The kitchen was grimy, the oven very dirty, the cooker hood thick with grease. There was old food stuff in several of the cupboards and even chicken left in the freezer! "This could be a lovely little getaway and for the price it wasn’t too bad. However, it needed some fixing. The main door was difficult to lock from the outside so I had to use the double doors when going out. Going into the property the gate was broken which wasn’t ideal with young children next to a busy road. "A fabulous place to stay if you have any business event to go to at Champneys . very well thought out, a lot of fabulous extra touches that meant we didn't need to bring anything. Berkhamsted is close by and has an amzing selection of places to eat. It has great parking and in a nice setting. We had a little struggle with their agent not sending through the arrival code instructions but it was quickly sorted out over the phone. will definitely stay here again."
