This apartment is on the top floor of a nice house in a suburban neighborhood, so there aren't amenities within walking distance. However, this is a great place to stay: spacious, comfortable, clean, lots of amenities (full kitchen, separate living room, washer/dryer, new in-room A/C units that are very effective). It's a safe neighborhood and the landlord is very friendly. it's very private, the neighborhood is safe, and access to neighboring towns like Litchfield is very easy. Given the dearth of hotels and other accommodations in the area, this is a real find. It would be suitable both for families and an individual on a business trip in the area. The only consideration against it is if you are handicapped: there is a steep flight of steps with one landing at midpoint, so it would be a challenge for someone on crutches, for example. I highly recommend this, and will stay there again if i'm in the area. In my career, i have been a heavy traveller, and usually seek out the Bonvoy options, but this was a fraction of the price of the nearest Bonvoy option (since i needed two bedrooms), and it was closer to my destination. Bring a cooler with some food and drinks, so you can make your own breakfast or dinner, and you'll save even more money and time.
