Divi Flamingo Beach Resort & Casino

"-1 restaurant and 1 buffet on location. 2 bars. Breakfast is served buffet style every morning. We were all-inclusive, so our meals were never charged, but you still signed the receipt so I was aware of costs. Most every meal will run you about $30 for food and beverage a person. It is an easy 10-minute walk from the resort to downtown Kralendijk for fun souvineer shopping and wonderful gelato at Gios. Well worth the walk. The property has 2 huge pools. 2 hot tubs outside the studio rooms. Our studio room #714 was equipped nicely with 2 queen beds, a tiny shower bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen including stocked cabinets for 4 people, and including a roll of paper towels and a full size coffeemaker with coffee packets. The ac is a min split unit that doesn't always cool at a comfortable low, but that may be just that room. I tried lowering the temperature but just managed to have the room more damp. But there is lots of closet and dresser space. The resort is geared toward scuba divers and their daily outings, therefore, it is not a 5-star resort for pampering. We are snorkelers and had the best swims along the Calabas Reef literally off the property beach. We rented a car for the day from Hertz at the resort for less than$100 fully insured. We easily drove both the north and south loops of the island. The salt pier with its salt ponds and the donkey sanctuary are worth the side trip to see along with the slave huts and beautiful waters on both sides of the island."

"Stay was good and convenient location but the beds need some work. Instead of two twin beds just use one queen. Then the chargers, we needed to buy adapters because they are different than America. And the lights sometimes did not work in bathroom. Besides that everything was nice."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chogogo. The view from the patio was spectacular. We had breakfast a few times and it was amazing. We also enjoyed drinks, appetizers and music at the beach bar/restaurant. The snorkeling was good right around the old concrete pier but Bari reef was really too deep to enjoy snorkeling."

"The room was so clean and comfortable and had a coffee maker and a hot pot which was nice for a morning instant coffee (I brought with me) the grounds and pool were well maintained. I had plenty of storage space for my things and came with a table and chairs too. Although the grocery/ convenience store is within walking distance , it isn't convenient and this location is not walkable to anything so rent a car if you stay here! I knocked this down a star because the water shut off just as it was time to get ready to check out. This was of NO fault or the hotel, but they didn't have any bottled water for emergency which would have been amazing since I was unable to take a shower and had about 1/2 cup of water. The hotel should be more prepared for "emergency" with necessary basic supplies. "

"Overall the hotel was very clean and located conveniently near the Bonaire Airport. Staff were pleasant. It would've been nice if the hotel had a restaurant that was open for dinner since it's not walking distance to any restaurants or other facilities. "

"Staff at the beach bar were great! “X” , Mahan, David and Justin were Engaging and fun. Drinks are not strong, good burgers and fries for snacks. Buffet style breakfast, lunch and dinner. Same food over and over and just ok. The view and water were amazing . "

"Had a great stay in the villas. Very nice property with access to all of the hotel amenities. Though it is located on the beach, remember to bring your water shoes as the shore is filled with coral and rock. Though the villa advertised for 4 bedroom/bathroom only one of the rooms actually had toilet and shower inside of the room. There were 2 half baths which each housed a toilet and sink in the hallway, one upstairs and one downstairs (but each room had its own shower). If you need assistance climbing stairs I wouldn’t recommend or you’ll miss out on the living area and large balcony bc of the winding/narrow stairs. Overall a good stay. Very clean and well kept. I felt safe the entirety of the stay."
