Includes a Visitor Center with museum of Revolutionary War artifacts, many picnic areas, an outdoor amphitheater and views of the Delaware River and D & R Canal. This is the NJ side park that commemorates George Washington's crossing of the Delaware on Christmas night 1776 of which there is a reenactment annually on Christmas Day.

Bowman's Tower overlooking the Delaware River in Washington Crossing, PA, USA. Bowmans Nature Preserve I is full of nature paths. I ran into a small coper head snake too. You can climb up to the top of the 125 foot tower and get great vistas and shots. Next time I'll go up, I think.
