Staff were really friendly and welcoming. Inclusive breakfast was very nice and the staff here were very nice and chatty too. The room was quite spacious… we had a storm overnight and it was really cosy.

Our room ticked all my boxes, plus it had its own private sheltered balcony that extended our room space. Our cheeseboard and beers were so much nicer enjoying the late afternoon sun on our balcony.

Great location and lovely room

Lovely double room. Staff were lovely. Didn’t realise breakfast was inc so this was a bonus. Eggs were well cooked for eggs Benedict but still enjoyable. Great location. Couldn’t get parked in grounds so parked across the road near the backpackers digs.

This was our third stay at Te Wanaka lodge, and we will keep coming back here whenever we visit. The room is cosy, clean, and comfortable. There is minimal space to lay out luggage and belongings, and the rooms are feeling a bit older and have some minor signs of wear and tear. Despite this, we still loved our stay here. The staff and owners are so lovely and we have always appreciated the warm welcome we have had here. Until next time Te Wanaka lodge.

A nice, basic, clean accommodation close to the lake front, shops and restaurants. Room was on the main floor and incredible noisy - heard everyone's coming and going and all street traffic but did not disrupt sleep at night. Staff was nice and offered home cooked scrambled eggs and bacon and a nespresso machine as compliments to the room. Not the Ritz for those who rate that as 5 star but Pleasant and convenient, I would stay here again.

Good location in Wanaka

Te Wanaka Lodge is in a nice location (short walk to beach, shopping, restaurants). It has adequate parking, and the wifi worked. Breakfast was good.

It is hard to accept this is a 4 star property. Perhaps our room was not the same as others who rated this place much higher, but we had a King Room. I thought it would be much nicer than it turned out to be. The room and much of the facilities seem to need an update. Things seemed worn out. Our deck with patio furniture looked dirty. The finish was worn off of door handles. The towel rack holder seemed to have broken at some point and athletic bandage material was used to repair it! Parking was very limited. Staff were friendly and the outdoor seating area was very pleasant.
