Old and dirty hotel. Stains in the bedsheets and rundown interior. You would expect something more for 130 dollar a night.

They use a very strong fragrance in the hotel. It is so strong that it will burn your eyes, make you cough and give you an awful headache. They use this fragrance at a toxic level. My lungs where coated and I had an allergic cough for days after we left. Staff is not very kind to your needs and avoids you if they can. We tried to cancel our reservation after one night, we had booked it for a total of 3 nights and they said that it was non-refundable and will still charge us for the full 3 days.We were miserable and packed our stuff and left. Our clothes and bags smelled like that fragrance for days. It was an awful experience I am not sure I will ever stay at a Motel 8 again!!! Staff made us feel like we were bothering them! I will not recommend staying at this Motel 8.

This hotel was perfect for a night during a long drive between Montana and Illinois. We stopped at Mt. Rushmore the evening we checked in and then continued on our journey through the Badlands National Park the next morning. We were given coupons for free drinks and meal discount nearby but were too tired to take advantage. Same thing with breakfast...we were given option of eating at the motel or using breakfast coupons to eat nearby. Unfortunately we had such a good night's sleep in comfortable beds that we missed both options. Every staff interaction was pleasant and we wouldn't hesitate to return.

I was unaware that there were no elevators in the buildingI had a knee replacement done making it difficult to walk up stairs and there were no rooms on the main floor. The check-in person was not very accommodating. I feel I should be compensated for this experience. Would not recommend this lodging to anyone

Bathroom was very unsafe and the size of a coat closet. No grab bars in the bath tub. We were both afraid to get in the tub because of the fear of falling. Was advertised as having a pool however needed to walk across a parking lot to get in the pool that was shared with another motel. The breakfast wasn't acceptable compared to other motels. The price was extremely high compared to the other facilities that we stayed on our trip. We will not recommend or stay at a Super 8 again.

I stayed here for one night. There isn’t an elevator, so I had to carry my bags up a flight of stairs, but check-in was smooth and the staff even provided coupons for local dining. My room had new carpet, and the bed was very comfortable. The location is also great—very walkable to nearby stores and attractions. Overall, definitely worth staying here.

The best part about this property and my experience (which was great) was the staff! Great welcome on arrival and help with locating a nice restaurant! Definitely recommend!

If you have a problem with room deodorizers then stay away. I asked at the front desk and they said the fragrance in the lobby would not be in the room but it was so strong that it permeated the room which was close to the lobby.

It was quite inconvenient. But the property was older kind of musty. The shower had not properly been cleaned. It was not my favorite hotel but it worked.

The room we stayed in was musty and smelled bad. I should have asked for a new room immediately but I thought maybe after being in the room and running the a/c it would have gone away. The bedding was dingy and appeared to not be fresh clean sheets but I can’t say for sure. We were tired and decided to stay and get a few hours of sleep and be on our way. In all fairness, we did not give the staff the opportunity to correct the issues as we just wanted to get to sleep and get back on the road.

Our greeter was great! She gave a coupon for a drink for us at dinner and recommended a nice place right across from Wall Drug. It was quite late but they were open and the food was wonderful. The hotel was older and could use some updating, but for our needs it was just right. Would stay here again if travels took us through Wall.
