The staff was amazing and friendly. We were surprised with fresh baked cookies, popcorn or candy when we checked in and with grab and go breakfast/snack/drink items when we checked out. The staff made excellent recommendations for dinner as well.

This was the perfect lodging to stay on our road trip. Both staff members very kind, there was popcorn available when we checked in. Rooms were clean and had no smell unlike some motels. Good water pressure in the shower. Close to the Badlands. Ask for a room on the lower floor if you have extra luggage. There is no elevator.

I checked in with a lovely lady on the night of Saturday May 23rd around 10:00 p.m. I don't remember her name, but she was very kind and friendly and even gave me a fresh baked cookie. I had a wonderful night's day, the place was clean, the gas station next door was very convenient to grab some snacks for the road, and I had a lovely time. Thank you!

The receptionist was super nice, just wonderful. The hotel is at least 40 years old, at minimum. It looks a bit worn out on the outside. But it's obvious from the room we were in that they've upgraded the rooms here & there over the years. The room was small, but it was clean, the AC worked great, the water was hot, there was a coffee maker with complimentary coffee, & big chocolate chip cookies when we checked in. The parking lot is well lit, & the sunrise you can see from there is beautiful. Our sole complaint was that the mattresses were hard. (We like soft ones.) It's not the modern hotel that a lot of us are used to, but it was still good.

Exterior doors which did not close easily and no second protective lock, yikes! Once inside, lights from property walkway lit up the room, curtains were not flush to the windows. It was horrible, it was daylight all night in the room. Bed I had to get to the middle otherwise it was so warm on the side I would have slept at an angle. Bathroom door did not close as it had expanded. Shower was from the 80’s, guessing, very old school with one spray pattern. Hot water was good though and the linens clean.
