Review of Alsi Resort
My experience at Alsi Resort started on a promising note with its attractive exterior, but things quickly took a downturn upon check-in. There were three guests ahead of me, yet only one staff member was available at the front desk. It was evident that the employee was struggling with the check-in process, signaling our first concern.
When I requested a business card, I was surprised to find that the resort had no official cards available, which felt unprofessional. Upon entering our room, disappointment grew. The space was extremely cramped, with the two queen beds nearly touching due to the limited room size. This was a stark contrast to the online photos and descriptions.
Hygiene was another major issue—there was hair between the bedsheets, and no trash cans were provided. To add to the frustration, the room I had specifically booked with a Bayview did not offer the promised view.
When I approached the front desk again to express these concerns, hoping for assistance, the staff was dismissive. They insisted on inspecting the room themselves to verify my claims, despite the photos I presented. I requested solutions such as fresh linens, housekeeping services, or a full refund. However, the staff directed me to contact Expedia, citing that since I booked through them, handling refunds was not their responsibility. They only expressed willingness to refund if I contacted the third party- Expedia.
