"The staff were very pleasant; the common area was spacious and very welcoming with many seating options. I believe it was not the norm, but our room was not swept before checking in- there was dust and hair on the floors. An over sight possibly. The bedding and bathroom were clean. This is an older hotel/ made hostel/ and provides affordable stays/ so keep that in mind when you think about hotel room decor and hall way carpets. Overall/ we enjoyed our stay."

"Beautiful hotel in a historical building in the centre of Gent. Walking distance to all the main sights. We stayed in a junior suite which is spacious and comfortable with exposed beams on the top floor. Unfortunately no view because the windows look out on the roofs on the buildings on the opposite side of the street."

"On y a passé une excellente nuit. L’hôtel est propre, moderne et confortable. On a aimé la diversité du personnel! Le seul hic est que le staff ne nous a pas bien indiqué où prendre le bus de transfert pour l’aéroport. On a dû appeler et payer un Uber. À part ça, on recommande l’hôtel."
