"Big party next door. So a bachelor party spoiled our sleep the last night. We travel with two kids who need their sleep. So I contacted the reception at 21.00. The woman was helpful and told me to contact the guard if the party wasn't over @ 22.00. It wasn't. Contacted the reluctant guard @ 22.30 who told me to report problems to the reception the next day. Bad. Und das gerade als man duschen wollte. Alles in allem nicht zu empfehlen....

Adriatic Hotel by Maistra Collection

Old Town Rovinj

We were so impressed by this hotel and the amazing service and hospitality of the staff. Our room was modern and nice. Since it was our. Honeymoon, they had a bottle of champagne and sweets prepared with handwritten notes. When we got lost driving to the hotel, someone came and found us. On top of that, great walkable location right on the water with food people watching from their bar and restaurant. The highlight my have been that you are able to use their sister hotel, the Grand Park...

Hotel Parentium Plava Laguna

Porec

10/10 Excellent

I've been going to Porec for 5 years now, primarily in the summer months. The Parentium is far and away the nicest resort in the area and usually the most expensive. It is the only property I know of in the area with a beach that can be described as sandy. The staff has always been a little chilly. Being massively concerned with the number of people in your room. I learned a couple of years back to always book for two people because it costs the same as one on the internet, but if you only...

The Melegran

Old Town Rovinj

10/10 Excellent

This is the most helpful hotel we have ever stayed in. The staff is beyond amazing and courteous. The location is in the heart of old town Rovinj which is stunning. My husband got sick and the restaurant for breakfast brought food up to our room for no charge. That is SERVICE! I would move in and make this my retirement home if I could. I wish we had stayed longer. This hotel is 5 stars for a much cheaper price. It is an absolute steal!!
