Very simple but amazing view

The lake view was amazing, the place is very simple with few amenities. You must travel by car as it's 10 minutes away from city center. You also have to take many stairs since there is no elevator to the rooms. Very quiet and peaceful.

Very, beautiful property. Wonderful panoramic view of the lake from the balcony. Far away from Voss town center though. Need to catch a bus sorry train which runs every 1-2 hours. No shops or restaurants near by. Take above location details into account. This place is fantastic to relax somewhere quiet and out of the way.

In September there is no staff at the front desk and it took 5 calls for us to figure out where our apartment was located and how to check in. I wish they had sent me an email a few days in advance with detailed instruction and door codes. Old resort hotel, met our needs.

When we got there we found that the property had been closed for a number of months. This was due to the property being renovated to take in Ukrainian refugees. Whilst I have no issues with the reason for the closure, we had not been advised that this was the case. We arrived around 5pm after a long day of travelling. The owner did his best to resolve our problem. In the end we were forced to find alternate accomodation which we did but far more expensive than we planned for. Why had we not been told months ago that the accomodation was no longer available?

Vi hadde et hyggelig opphold, ble møtt av folk som gjorde mye for at vi skulle trives. Vi fikk bestille varm mat og et glass vin selv om kjøkkenet ikke var åpent. Rent og fint på felles toaletter og bad, fint felles kjøkken med alt du trengte hvis du ville lage din egen mat. Alle rom minnet om et levende loppemarked , ingen grunn til å kjede seg her.

En kjempe flott opplevelse, jeg ble tatt i mot med åpne armer, av både ansatte og lokale mennesker. Lokalene i seg selv ga meg en god hjemme følelse, ikke noen typisk hotel opplevelse og en liten tidsreise tilbake i tid, med sjarmerende møbler og historie på veggene. Det hele ligger alene i skogkanten, rolig omgivelser, utsikt over sjøen. Skal man slappe av, og fylles opp med gode minner. Da drar man hit! Jeg drar dit igjen, ved første mulighet. God tur 😊

Älteres Hotel, gut renoviert - volkstümlich eingerichtet. Ideal zur Durchreise ! Hatten ein Zimmer mit Balkon, was hervorragend für die Hunde war. Die sanitären Einrichtungen befanden sich, nicht weit vom Zimmer entfernt am Gang - alle Räume sehr sauber ! Auf der Etage gibt es eine Gemeinschaftsküche die gut ausgestattet ist, würde mir da jedoch Wünschen Kaffee oder Teebeutel zur freien Verfügung zu finden. Im Keller befindet sich ein kleines Kaffee und ein Minishop für kleine Snacks..

Fantastisk vertskap

Dette var så mye bedre en forventet. Rent alle steder helle bygget er fullt av gamle ting utsikt over alt, men rent og pent var det alle steder, Vertskapet er utrolig hyggelig, det var en glede å være der, ble server utrolig god mat. Kommer garantert til å bo der igjen
