I don’t normally leave reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience after an incredibly frustrating and disappointing stay at the Comfort Inn & Suites Voorhees/Mt. Laurel.
My stay was unfortunately cut short due to extremely poor communication and mismanagement by the staff. I had paid in full for a room ahead of time, expecting a smooth check-in process and a decent stay. Instead, I found myself locked out of the room I had paid for — with no clear explanation or solution from the management.
After arriving and checking in, everything seemed fine at first. However, shortly afterward, I discovered I no longer had access to my room. When I went to the front desk for assistance, I was met with confusion and a complete lack of urgency or professionalism. I was told conflicting information by different staff members, and no one seemed to know what was going on or how to fix the issue. Despite my repeated attempts to get clarification, I was left in limbo without a room or a refund.
To make matters worse, I had to leave the hotel entirely because no alternative solution was provided. I essentially paid for a stay that I didn’t receive. There was no apology, no offer to make things right — just a shrug and a “there’s nothing we can do” attitude. It felt like my time and money meant nothing to them.
I strongly advise anyone considering this hotel to think twice. The lack of professionalism, communication, and basic customer service is unacceptable.
