We only stayed here for one night, but everyone in my group agreed that we would love to spend a week here. The property is situated in a peaceful, rural environment that is a short walk to the beach and still relatively close to neapolis, a bigger town. The room was thoughtfully furnished and decorated and the host was very attentive. Our balcony had beautiful views of the mountains and the sea! Perfect place to unwind and experience the Greek countryside.

Megris country houses are located in Magganos, in the olive trees countryside few kilometers east of Pounta and Pavlopetri. The structure has a private parking and the rooms are fantastic, with a beautiful view of the sea across the olive trees. The very Greek hospitality of Gyorgia (with super Greek breakfast) and her nice husband will make unforgettable the staying. If you travel by car or motorcycle this is the best solution to visit this area of Lakonia. Be ready to feel nostalgia.

Our stay here was pleasant, though there were a few challenges. We had some difficulty with the gate at arrival, as instructions on how to enter were not clear, and we were also unsure where to leave the remote control upon departure. Additionally, it felt a bit misleading that there were no photos showing the farm animals on the property (cats, dogs, geese, chickens, horses, etc.), which are very much present. The biggest drawback was the barking dogs at night, which made it difficult to sleep. The location is excellent—just a three-minute walk to the beach. The beach itself was clean with soft sand mixed with small pebbles that were easy on the feet. Beach beds were affordable, though many had visible stains, and the bar could benefit from offering a wider variety of snacks and food. That said, the mixed drinks were delicious, and prices were consistent with what we experienced throughout Greece. One important note: the address is confusing on Google Maps. Entering the address shows a location on Elafonisos island, which is misleading, while searching by the property name brings you to the correct coastal location. The home itself was very clean and well prepared. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like bottled water, coffee, creamer, and laundry pods. Gyorgia was incredibly kind and hospitable, and her efforts made our stay enjoyable.

Gentilissima Giorgia che ci ha lasciato mettere la macchina nel cortile, anche se siamo arrivati troppo presto, prima del check-in. Siamo andati a piedi a fare un giro in spiaggia, vicinissima e siamo tornati. Ci hanno offerto caffè e gelato all'ombra di un grande albero. L'appartamento bellissimo, al primo piano, un grande letto comodo, un tavolo, un angolo cucina ben attrezzato e una scaletta che conduce in una piccola mansarda con altri tre letti. Il terrazzo con tavolo e sedie per cenare in vista del mare. C'è anche la lavatrice. Ci hanno chiesto se volevamo avere una cena greca e al costo di 16 euro a testa ci hanno fatto arrivare tutto pronto e caldo all'ora stabilita. Una meraviglia!! La mattina presto siamo ancora andati in spiaggia per un bagno stupendo e poi colazione in terrazza e siamo partiti entro l'orario di checkout. Da ritornarci sicuramente, per starci qualche giorno.

L'appartamento è ampio e ben tenuto. La cucina è completa e molto ben fornita delle cose essenziali. L'accoglienza è precisa, cordiale e premurosa, tanto da sentirsi a casa. La struttura è immersa nella natura e a pochi minuti a piedi dal mare. Siamo stati molto bene.
