Only hotel in praia de costa,,safe area to walk day or night. Food trucks on beach at night,, man selling coconut water all day. Many restaurants close by. Ocean view room can hear waves from the sea in your room.

The hotel was across from the beach and the view spectacular. The only concern was that housekeeping would leave our sheets folded on the bed and when we returned had to make our own beds. Also we have challenges with the safe but the staff were prompt to assist. The breakfast hosts were amazing and even though our Portuguese was limited they were courteous and very helpful. The most outstanding employee was our breakfast hostess who wore a hairnet and wore glasses. I can’t remember her name but she helped with ordering eggs and brought us freshly baked cheese rolls. Had a terrific smile. Coming from the Walt Disney Company in hotel management, she should be acknowledged for her magic. Thank you and we will be back

The Ocean view is priceless and the rooftop pool is a must! The only exception is that the pool bar is always closed and the guests are not allowed to bring drinks or snacks to the pool area.

It was pretty much basic. What you needed was there and the staff were very polite and very friendly. Not aim many could speak English, just like Brazil in general. I would have given them one more star, it it wasn’t for the breakfast. It was below basic and average. It was not good.

It might be on a par with other hotels in this area, but I am used to hotels in Europe and the U.S. The pool was unusable for my entire stay because it is being remodeled. The Pool bar was likewise unusable due to remodeling. The universal gym was very old and in disrepair, and difficult to use. It was strange for them to schedule the pool repair during the high season. The hotel restaurant was rather poor for dinner. I had a hamburger that was extremely tough and almost inedible. For breakfast the food is better and has many hot and cold items and they will make eggs for you. The power was out for almost an entire day during our stay. This was a planned outage; which seemed strange that it would occur in their high season. The sink in the bathroom, did not have the ability to control hot water, which made shaving difficult. The windows on the room's balcony were in ill repair and could not be shut and just banged together constantly. The reception staff were not very accommodating. We asked to arrange for a cab to take us to the airport and they gave my fiancé a phone number to call, whereas other hotels will typically make these arrangements. The sign for the hotel was not illuminated so it made it a bit difficult to locate at night. I don't know whether the sign is never illuminated, or the bulbs were burned out. They do not speak any English at this hotel, which adds to the challenges.
