「We stayed in a ground floor suite near the dining hall and that was very convenient for seniors like us. Our suite was very clean and very nicely furnished. To me, the outstanding feature of the resort was the behaviour of the staff. They always greeted us with a smile. They never expected tips unlike their counterparts in bigger cities. The big open ground inside the resort was very nicely maintained and excellent for morning walks. We didn’t use the gym or spa area, but they looked good....

「We enjoyed our stay at the Royal Bengal Hotel. The rooms , bathrooms and other areas of the hotel were very clean. The staff were very friendly and answered all our queries. The restaurant has great food and is reasonably priced. I would recommend staying at this hotel when visiting Bolpur」

The windows didn’t shut properly so the mosquitos got in and we were woken in the night by what sounded like someone retching outside. We stayed one night because we had to and left early the next morning.」
