A Unique Stay in the Heart of the Old Town!

I had the pleasure of staying in a top-floor apartment that offered a truly memorable experience. From the moment I stepped in, I felt like I was living in the heart of the old town—charming, peaceful, and full of character. The location was excellent—just a short walk to the sea, surrounded by a lovely green park, and conveniently close to IKEA for anything I needed. It perfectly combined convenience with charm. Waking up to the views, enjoying the calm atmosphere, and feeling so connected to the town’s heritage made this stay one of my best choices. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy and authentic experience.

Central in the beautiful old city, unquiet

Börsen Annex lies in a distance of a rather good walk from the main hotel, though by the beautiful old town gates. Annex is itself an idyllic ancient house. The location is just gorgeous quite near to Stortorget and other central places, though it has reverse side: I listened much revelry on nights. Part of it was due to young people who were living in other rooms of the Annex; but the area seems to me being also otherwise partying zone of the city. It, however, helped that I closed also the inner door from the vestibule to the sleeping room. The modern furnishings are moderately fitted to the old, small rooms.

It looked nice, but…

The room was a surprise. On the corner, street level. Need to keep the shades closed or everybody passing looked you in the face, lying on your (very good) bed. So you could not open the bigger windows, only small ones higher, and it was warm. Biggest problem: a huge bath with no grips to hold and… no separate shower. Not very handy for older people. The bathroom was big enough for a separate shower though. In the evening we heared the people passing by like they where standing next to our bed. And when it got later, they sounded more and more happy. And louder… Over SEK 2500 a night without breakfast or roomservice, it was rather disappointing.

Skitigaste hotell jag bott på. Spindelväv i varenda hörn. Luktar mögel. Svinkallt. Mögel och svamp i fogarna i badrum. Superdammig takkrona över sängen. Stora spindlar överallt, döda och levande. Generell usel städning. Enligt receptionen var hotellet upp för backen och på vänster sida, glömde meddela mig att det var 300 m promenad. Tog väldigt lång tid att hitta. Enligt receptionen var det bara komma förbi och köpa frukost på morgon dock var dörren låst och ingen personal på plats. Skulle även få kvittot för betalning vid utcheckning, vilket inte gavs och vi kom på när vi lämnat.

Mysigt, trevligt men ej utrustat kök

Rent och fint. Trevligt område och trevlig personal. Satte dock inte fem stjärnor pga att det nästintill inte fanns några köksredskap att laga mat med i våran lägenhet. Jag sa till två gånger under vistelsen och bad om bla grytlappar, kökshandduk, stekspade men tyvärr var det inget som löstes under våran vistelse.

Rummet var fint, trevlig personal och god frukost. Minus var att tv:n inte fungerade, kylen var ingen kyla i och ingen påfylld schampo i duschen (det var slut). Det är trist när det står att det finns kyl och tv på rummet och det inte fungerar. I övrigt bra hotell.

Centralt läge men väldigt enkelt

Mögel på golvet i badrummet, inget duschdraperi så golvet blev dyngsurt. Dörren in till badrummet var en dåligt ditsatt sjukförsäkring som inte gick att stänga ordentligt. Unken lukt i rummet och elementen fungerade inte. Men bra läge, bra pris och trevlig personal i receptionen.

Bra, men för mjuka sängar

Bra skick, men för mjuka sängar och kallt på rummet. Det tog ett tag att hitta Annexet eftersom det inte ligger i direkt anslutning till hotellet. Annars var det fint på rummet.

Lyhört och insyn

Ett väldigt konstigt hotellrum där det var extremt lyhört mot gatan, plus att man var tvungen att ha persiennerna neddragna eftersom det var direkt insyn från gatan på två sidor. Sängen var extremt mjuk, jag fick lägga bäddmadrassen på golvet andra natten för att klara ryggen. Bra med kylskåp, konstigt med vattenkokare när det varken fanns muggar, tepåsar eller kaffepulver.

Mysigt litet boende där hundar är välkomna!

En övernattning ensammen med vår hund. Fantastiskt litet boende, ingång direkt från gatan, som en liten lägenhet. En liten hall, litet badrum och ett sovrum med en stor, skön säng. Dessutom finns en liten "innergård" med två soffor och ett bord - supermysigt. Hit kommer jag gärna igen. Hunden fick bo gratis! Det är litet så inte aktuellt för fler än två gäster och mindre hundar.
