The best part was the large room that was clean. The view was also amazing, we really enjoyed sitting on the balcony. The staff was also very personable and helpful. The downside was the hotel just being in need of renovation, other guests causing the hallways and elevator to smell like weed.

Overall, the experience was okay, but there were several issues that would make me think twice about staying again. The location right on the beach was excellent, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The attached store was also convenient and reasonably priced. However, there were several issues. The first two rooms we were shown had small flying bugs on the walls, so we had to switch. The room we stayed in was basic and mostly clean, but had a strong “wet dog” smell that didn’t go away. The carpet needs replacing. The balcony setup lacks privacy—there are no dividers, so you can see and easily access neighboring balconies, which felt uncomfortable. The walls are very thin, and loud neighbors one night made it hard to sleep. The room had a desk but no chair, which was odd. The pool area was not usable in my opinion—it didn’t appear clean, had heavy condensation, and water covered much of the seating area. Parking was also difficult, and we had to use overflow parking across the street the entire stay. I have lower expectations for oceanfront hotels, which is why I’m giving 3 stars. Otherwise, it would be closer to 1–2.

We went there for my birthday. Our room was dirty outlet cover was off but things was plugged in thank god our children wasn't with us they are small and thats dangerous. Microwave had a short in the cord wires was showing and was sparkling. The tv you could hardly see its old and no cable. The blankets was dirty and thin and very rough feeling. The room next door had a Bluetooth speaker and played music so loud all night long the bass shook the walls nothing was done about it wass are paper then and we went even talk about the pot small all though the hotel worst stay ever i should pictures to front desk as i was leaving she wrote everything down.
Between furniture the dress its literally falling apart and has not been cleaned between furniture
Cigarette burn in blanket in a no smoking hotel.
Bathroom door knob coming off .
Bathroom ceiling needs to be fixed and painted.

Nice view on the balcony, but u could see the people beside u should be walls up for privacy like all other hotels there. A/C WAS OK wouldn't saidnit worked the best, no clock in room, only one light was working no lamp at all on night stand . Bathroom was really small.

Beach view is great no complaints Air conditioning was horrible room didn't get cool at all had to sleep with balcony door open (April) Staff was extremely rude after requesting towels multiple times and having to go get them myself house keeping showed up while I was in the shower banging on the door like they were the police mind you the beach was on lock down with a mandatory curfew due to the high crime going on in Virginia Beach I had to jump out of the shower with only a hand towel thinking it was a emergency all for the housekeeper to be extremely rude explaining this was the second time she had to return to the room! Made a complaint at the front desk to her manager... she continued to tell at me in front of other guest and her boss Room never got cleaned trash never taken out no shampoo conditioner or hand soap in the room no toilet paper had to use tissues until my child had to go get toilet paper from the front desk When attempting to go to the pool we were told it was closed due to maintenance after meeting with friends we used their pool later on when we returned the pool WAS in use but was extremely dirty showers not working old and run down definitely needs done upgrading PARKING TERRIBLE hardly any spots in the parking lot you have to park down a dark alley way while lugging your luggage across the street Overall will not be returning

Beach view was amazing. Staff were friendly. The rooms could have been cleaner but it was not an issue. Would be great if they served breakfast but I understand why they don’t, there isn’t room for a kitchen. We would stay here again if we needed to, it was a decent stay on a budget.

Bed sheets dirty, outlets didn’t hold to charge, pillow and bed very uncomfortable that caused back and neck pain. Outdated look and seemed more like a motel. Staff was nice, beach view was great, but no privacy on balcony because no wall between balconies. Location was great to walk to everything.

The view was great, it was right on the beach. The cleanliness was terrible. I don’t believe the bedding had been changed on one of the beds, as it still had blue candy stuck all over it. The bathroom was terrible and the shower definitely had not been cleaned. Exposed wires on ceiling, a smashed up bathroom door, and a leaking fridge. This is not what we were expecting after reading the reviews. Very disappointing.

The body soap dispenser in the bathroom was empty. As for the shampoo and conditioner, it was impossible to tell what was actually inside them. The building itself is old, and the walls were peeling in places. The staff at the front desk seemed reluctant to refill the water and coffee provided in the lobby area. I was shocked when someone on an upper floor threw a water bottle down to the ground below! I’m just relieved that no one was injured.
